This DVD includes Captain Donald Erickson telling his story  as he took the William Clay Ford back into the raging gale in an attempt to rescue the crew of the Edmund Fitzgerald.  In addition there are actual radio traffic between Soo Control and other ships as they discovered the Fitzgerald was missing .   The DVD ends with underwater video of the way the Fitzgerald looks as she rest on the bottom of Lake Superior.
