At the Midland Michigan Kennel Club show, Trelynn's Something About Amy went Winners bitch/Best of Opposite for her first 2 points.  Amy was breeder/owner handled by Debbie.   Way to go Debbie!!

At the Traverse City Kennel club under judge Dorothy Welsh, Ryan won Reserve Winners dog and Carrie won Winners Bitch for 2 points, Best Opposite Sex, Best sheltie puppy and a Puppy Group 3!  Both were from the 9-12 month puppy class.

Hidow An American Idol "Ryan" at his first time in the ring won a Puppy Group 3 at the Motor City Specialties Sanctioned match.

Today at the Battle Creek KC show in Monroe Mchigan, Hidow Heartbreaker "Breaker" won Winners dog and Best of Opposite for 2 points!  Many thanks to judge Mrs. Robert (Carolyn) Thomas for seeing the virtues in my bred by boy.   This puts Breaker at 3 points in VERY limited showing and all from the Bred-by class.

What an exciting day!  Today under judge Mr. Lester Mapes, first, Breaker won 2nd place in a quality packed Bred-by class.  Mr. Mapes congratulated both of us on the quality of our dogs and our breeding programs.  He then went on to receive Reserve Winners dog.  

Then, to make our day even more exciting, Mellie won first place in her large open sable class.  It came down to a tough decision for the judge (he told us so) and we received Reserve Winners Bitch.  Mellie is still  chasing those last two points.

"Josh" from the Simon x Desi litter went to his new home today where he will be grown out and shown in conformation.  We wish Debbie & Frank Tresnek lots of luck with their new show prospect.

Today making his first ring appearance in 18 months at the Monroe Kennel Club show, Hidow Heartbreaker won the Bred by class and went on to win a 3 point major reserve under Judge Mrs. Kimberly Meridith-Cavanna, who complimented me on his front assembly.

At the Shetland Sheepdog Club of Detroit with Judge Mr. Malcolm Hart from Great Britain I am pleased to announce that Mellie won 3rd place in the Open Sable class.   I found it to be a very interesting experience to have Mr. Hart judge here in the states and am quite happy with my 3rd place.

A new litter!  Born to Hidow Hearts Desire and sired by Starphire Idol Critique, 3 girls and 3 boys, what an exciting litter! It is so much fun to sit and watch them and dream of their potential.

At the UKC show held in Romeo, Michigan, "Mellie" won Best Female, Best of Breed, Group 1 and all the way to BEST IN SHOW!  Many thanks for this exciting day to judge David Arhur.

We had a lit born here at Hidow, dam is Wyndmyst Clouds in My Coffee "Java" and the sire is Am/Can Ch. Cindahope Trademark ROMC.  Two beautiful bitch puppies.  Since this litter is co-owned/co-bred with Diane DeBolt we will each get a puppy.

Today under judge Dr. Carmen Battaglia Mellie received Winners Bitch, Best of Opposite for another two points. To make it even more exciting she did so without any coat!

Today at the Detroit Shetland Sheepdog Specialty in his show debut at the age of 7 months,  Hidow Steal Your Attention "Sheldon" placed 3rd in Sweeps under Judge Amy Massey and then was moved to 6th place in the regular classes under judge Naomi Stoner Coen.   The 6-9 month puppy class was extremely large with over 12 entries so I am extremely proud of this young pup.

We are proud to announce a new addition to our family at Hidow.  Thanks to the generosity of Diane Debolt we have added  Wyndmyst Clouds In My Coffee  "Java" to our group.  Java is sired by Ch. Ilemist As You Like It ex Ch Classy's Glorious Song.    "Java" was bred by Julie Desy and Carol Howell and is co-owned with Diane.  Will be adding a page for Java soon.

Mellie received her 2nd 3 point major at the Kalamazoo Kennel Club show.  This brings her to 9 points with both of her majors.  Many thanks to Mr. Houston Clark for seeing the virtues in my girl and of course to her handler, Julie Desy and Ilemist Presentation.

Mellie received her first 3 point major today at the Progressive Kennel Club show bringing her to 6 points!!   Mellie was handled by Julie Desy and the judge of the day was Ms. Arlene Czech.

National Week 2005

Hidow Wyndmyst Anticipation "Sarah" made the cut in the 6-9 month Sable/white bitch class.  Her litter sister placed 4th in the class.
